The National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine (NCCAM) has developed the CAM Online Continuing Education Series for
health care providers and the public to learn more about complementary and alternative medicine (CAM).
The Continuing Education Series is presented in six chapters:
1. Overview of Complementary and Alternative Medicine
2. Herbs and Other Dietary Supplements
3. Mind-Body Medicine
4. Acupuncture: An Evidence-Based Assessment
5. Manipulative and Body-Based Therapies: Chiropractic and Spinal Manipulation
6. Complementary and Alternative Medicine and Aging
Each chapter includes:
* A video lecture by one author, including the transcript
* A question and answer transcript
* An online test that can be taken to receive Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits
* Additional resource links
