OCLC FirstSearch service enhanced

The OCLC FirstSearch service now includes functionality that allows for
links back to every configured web based catalog from the FirstSearch
"libraries that own item" page. If your institution has links from
FirstSearch back to its web based local catalog configured in the
FirstSearch administrative module, your local catalog will be available to
every FirstSearch user as a hotlink from this page within the FirstSearch
service.

Previously, users only had the ability to search the catalog of the
institution with which their FirstSearch account was associated. With this
enhancement, users are now able to search the catalog of many institutions
that hold the item for which they searched, allowing easy access to local
information such as call number, item location and shelf status.
