Community of Science - PIVOT

The UConn Libraries and Office for Sponsored Programs are pleased to announce that University of Connecticut researchers now have access to Pivot, the most comprehensive source of grant funding available on the web, with 26,000 funding opportunities worth an estimated $33 billion:

UConn’s site-wide license to Pivot will allow researchers at all campuses to:

• identify a wide array of potential funding opportunities - for research, travel, fellowships and training - available through state, federal, corporate, non-profit, and foundation sponsors.

• identify potential collaborators within UConn and at other universities based on research expertise and publication information in Pivot Profiles – faculty profiles available for more than 3 million scholars around the world.

Pivot will allow faculty, graduate students, and others to search for funding opportunities relevant to their research, share opportunities with colleagues and collaborators, and receive funding alerts about new or updated opportunities.

Pivot is pre-populated with many UConn researcher profiles. For information on claiming and updating your profile, see the Pivot Scholar Profiles FAQs link at

.
Office for Sponsored Programs is in the process of updating faculty profiles in Pivot with current title and contact information from Human Resources, but you may claim and update your Pivot profile now.
