To All PubMed Citation Data Providers:

Starting on Monday 2/2/04 we will run our PubMed loading scripts starting at approx. 8 AM US EST. We have previously started these scripts at 9 AM, but due to the increased volume of files, we need to transfer the data earlier in the day to the MEDLINE Indexing Section. The loading scripts run daily Monday through Friday mornings; PMIDs assigned Monday through Friday are incorporated into PubMed via indexing scripts run on Tuesday through Saturday mornings. So newly assigned PMIDs will typically be visible in PubMed after 8 AM the day following loading.
